Today was another relaxing day. I slept in, relaxed in my room, and played a little basketball with Margot. It was raining most of the day (except for the little break where we were playing basketball), so it was nice to be inside. After lunch, Catherine asked if I would drive her, Ralf, and Margot over to the stadium for the rugby game. It’s really hard to find a parking spot and they also wanted to have a few beers, so I was glad to give them a ride (I drove Ralf’s Volvo which is automatic). When I got home, I worked on some Christmas presents and some poems for Sinterklaas (which we are celebrating tomorrow because Gabrielle and Paul are now at home). I skyped with Mark for a while, then skyped with Brigid! In the middle of our conversation, Catherine called for me to pick them up. It’s so weird to be driving again—I’ve never driven in France before!
After dinner tonight we watched “Le père noël est une ordure”—which is apparently a French cult classic…written by the same guy that wrote “The Dinner Game.” It was pretty insane and funny, but not as good as “The Dinner Game.”
